VerifyKe exists because of an information gap. An owner abroad cannot easily confirm what exists on the ground, whether reported work happened, whether materials arrived, or whether management records reconcile — and flying home to check one thing is rarely practical.
What we actually sell
A documented visit and an honest report. Technology supports the work — it is not the work. What you are paying for is an accountable person standing on your site, recording what is there, and writing down what they could not confirm.

Every report names the inspector who visited and the reviewer who checked their evidence. Accountability is a person, not a brand.

What we will not do
Our independence is only worth something if it costs us work.
- Sell land, broker deals or negotiate on your behalf
- Hold your money, release escrow or pay contractors
- Take commission from a seller, agent, contractor or developer
- Certify legal ownership, title authenticity or boundary correctness
- Certify structural, electrical or engineering work
- Tell you a property is a safe investment, or free of fraud
- Manage your property day to day
Who started this, and why
Fred Kibet
Founder
VerifyKe was started by Fred Kibet, who spent fifteen years in Finland before returning to Kenya. The gap it addresses is one he has been on both sides of. From Finland, property at home meant relying on what he was told — whether the plot is where it was said to be, whether the work being invoiced actually happened, whether a month’s account matches the building it describes. Flying home to answer one of those is rarely worth it, and taking someone’s word for it is how people lose money quietly.
Back in Kenya, managing property on the ground, he met the same distance from the other end — this time as the person being asked to be believed.
He builds software and automation systems at Luvyx.io, and runs LandyKe, a property-management business in Kenya. LandyKe is a conflict of interest, so it is stated here and on our independence page rather than left for you to come across — and where LandyKe manages a property, VerifyKe will not take the verification work on it. What he is accountable for at VerifyKe is the standard of the reports: that they record what was actually seen, and say plainly what was not established.

LandyKe is a separate property-management activity associated with our founder. It is a different business doing different work and is never bundled into a VerifyKe service. Where LandyKe manages a property, VerifyKe cannot honestly claim independent assurance over that management — we would be checking our own side’s work. In that situation we tell you and decline, rather than take the assignment quietly.
